Insert-PU
Is an elastic highly wear-resistant material, which was and is used in the elevator industry instead of the originally used leather. The sliding properties required here are only achieved by massive lubrication. In principle, PU is a friction material (friction) and therefore not an ideal application for sliding guides but rather for roller coverings. Like all rubber-elastic materials, PU has good damping properties, but only a low compressive strength of 0.5 N / mm².
